Pushpagiri Research Centre conducts six month and one year internship programmes specialization in biochemistry (Inborn error of metabolism), Molecular biology (Nucleic acid and macromolecule extraction, Quantification of Nucleic acid, Western Blotting, Detection using molecular markers, Bioinformatic tools etc..), Virology (Serology and Molecular Virology), Tissue Engineering (Tissue and Bone regeneration using Guided bone regeneration and Guided tissue regeneration respectively) and Biostatistics.

We also conducts yearly workshop on Cell culture which provides the students and faculty from various field to explore various aspects of Cell culture techniques with expert interaction sessions. Workshops on animal handling are carried out annually for students and faculty from interdisciplinary field.

With the advancement of technologies and strategies, the competition for better future is much greater than ever before. The goal of this programme is to provide a platform for participants to understand and experience the current knowledge to cater the rapid demands of modern equine industry. These trainings will help them to get a clarity on various concepts about respective fields and also provides a foundation for the better future choices.

Pushpagiri Research Centre conducts annually a major training programme in Experimental Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Tissue engineering and virology to graduate (B.Sc/ B.A.M.S/ B.H.M.S/ B.VSc/ MBBS) and post-graduate students (M.Sc./ M.Pharm./M.Tech/ M.VSC./ M.D) from various colleges, Institutions and Universities from in and out of Kerala.

These programmes specializes in biochemistry (Inborn error of metabolism), Molecular biology (Nucleic acid and macromolecule extraction, Quantification of Nucleic acid, Western Blotting, Detection using molecular markers, Bioinformatic tools etc..), Virology (Serology and Molecular Virology), Tissue Engineering (Tissue and Bone regeneration using Guided bone regeneration and Guided tissue regeneration respectively), Animal handling, Cell culture and Biostatistics.

These summer trainings are designed for students at graduate and post graduate level (in their final semester) as a part of their dissertation work. Though any student at any level of their under graduation/ post graduation can also apply.

Our approach is based on combination of intellectual sessions tailored with hands on wet lab practices. Feel free to visit our centre and interact with the scientists.
