Dr.Sherly Antony MD PDCR National post doctoral fellow (SERB- DST) at Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research centre has been awarded the prestigious, ‘Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Travel award for scientists in Low and Middle Income countries‘ for presenting two posters in the upcoming international conference, ‘The World Microbe Forum‘ scheduled between 20-24 June,2021, jointly organized by the American Society of Microbiology (ASM) and The Federation of European Microbiologists Societies (FEMS) for her posters titled “Characterization including Virulence Factors of Candida auris- Armor of Endurance and “Detection of Faecal carriage of drug resistant bacterial colonizers in a tertiary care centre in South India“
