Report on Bioradiance 2020- Emerging Infectious Diseases
Annual PRC conference ‘Bioradiance 2020- Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID)’ was conducted through online webinar platform on Saturday 29 th August 2020 at 4.00 pm. Pushpagiri Research Centre catered this edition as a sumptuous feast gathering under one roof brilliant minds, great academicians and true researchers with the latest in infectious diseases. Around 150 participants from all parts of the scientific community i.e. faculty of medicine, dental and science, research scholars, postgraduates and graduate students belonging to varied disciplines logged in. The eminent faculty who presented topics on different aspects of EID were Dr Rakesh PS, Dr Reba Kanungo, Dr Shoba Mammen, Dr Pragasam Viswanathan and Dr Sunil B who were all able to do justice to their respective topics. Their talks were followed by an hour-long of Q & A session which was very lively and kept the momentum smooth. An e-poster presentation was also organised as part of this academic fiesta. 18 participants competed in two categories, on Original Research and the other was Reviews and/or Case Reports. The winners of the poster competition were announced at the wee end of the sessions. A total of Rs 5000 was given as incentives for the top scorers in the corresponding categories. The conference ended at 8.00 pm bringing to a close the Bioradiance 2020.
